Heart of Worship

Worship is so much more than a few songs. It is not an organized form of service. If it can be organized and planned, then it is not worship. Worship is an expression of love. It can be a sacrifice, but that sacrifice of praise soon turns into a rush of emotional remembrance of who God is and what He is. True worship has to be stirred. When it settles it cannot be just utilized instantly, but it must be stirred back up again. Worship is that deep adoration and love that you feel for someone you love. It is not just a couple of statements stating how great God is. If it can be programmed, then it is not worship. Worship does not depend upon anything; it is a free pouring of your soul out before God.
